I understand she's a confused girl in an unusual circumstance, but nevertheless, I found myself unable to muster up much sympathy for her. I'm so angry and upset after reading this. I'd picked it up at the library because the cover was pretty, it seemed interesting, and was quick and easy read due to the verse-by-verse (like poetry) format that it's told in. Character growth is always a nice thing to see, I guess.
