And LNY made a great comeback with this as well. I think she’s found a real match with Seo-joon and they have an easy chemistry that he severely lacked with Dan-yi. I love the winter coats! We left off last week with Dan-i finding out about Kang Byeong-jun’s mysterious circumstances. Some wonder if it’s all staged and winner already chosen, but the rules of the contest ensure that all submissions are anonymous. Mr Bong tries to hold Ms Seo’s but has no luck. Let’s dive in for the last time!
She omitted qualifications, she didn't lie. She was terrified she’d be useless starting work again. The two bring some groceries back to the house and as they’re unpacking them, Dan-yi brings up the interesting fact that Seo-joon’s birthday is April 23, the same date as Author Kang’s last book. She runs back to her desk and finds the sentence she’d read in the shredded paper she’d pieced back together.
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Our heroine struggles to get a handle on her feelings and our hero doesn’t plan to make it easy. The ball is finally in Eun-ho’s court and he plans to take full advantage of this power reversal before Dan-yi has the chance to tip the scales. I do see Eun Ho's flaws but they're not really shown as flaws, rather charming or more to add to his good qualities. But meanwhile, Director Ko continues to discuss the truth about Dan-yi with her colleague at another company. Hae-rin isn’t sure the cuttlefish feels the same way. Hae-rin nods that of course, it doesn’t mean that they like one another, just like falling asleep on a guy’s shoulder one time doesn’t mean it’s love either (oh boy, these dense kids…). Uh-oh.
It's easy!
He suggests they bookmark this place in their relationship and they’ll go back to neighborhood friends, but should Dan-yi ever want to, they’ll try again. From the rejection letter too we can tell HR is precious friend to EH.
Back to Eun-ho, who has unearthed the boxes he has with the original written manuscripts by Author Kang. Back at the office, Dan-i and Ji-yul are in a meeting with the rest of the team. “You like me,” he tells her, and leans in close. She’s still in love with him. DAMMIT!! It must really hurt when he suddenly draws the line, and double hurt when that person turns out to be new bestie DY. LOL. ================================ She can now take all of those feelings and explain them all away, that she was right in not trusting Dan-yi, and make someone else fire this person who makes her feel uncomfortable in the one space where she feels like she has total control. And even though she is successful, she is lonely and lies to keep face.
Otherwise, our widowed CEO. window.fbAsyncInit = function() { Somehow that loose button must fit in, too. He also gave that company lots of money through his works.
In the meantime, we have LJS and the heart fluttering moments he creates :D. Oh and my heart went out to Ko during the would-be-husband sequence. I liked how he changed his expression once he caught sight of Ji Yul's mother and put on the aggrieved 'boyfriend of her daughter' act. They have worked on a book proposal together for a title called The Inner Thoughts of Plants. So cute. I thought they were finally becoming friends! With just a couple more weeks to go, two secrets remain to be resolved: the truth about Dan-yi’s work experience and the truth about Author Kang and all those somehow involved with him. Ji-hong and Yeong-ah move to the waiting room to talk, and Ji-hong suggests that they get back together for their son’s sake. Can't be any better. Ko had to ask her friend what she would do under the same circumstances, before she knew what to do. She dabs ointment on it and there’s legit nothing there and tells him to put his own bandaid on. He thinks back to when Eun-ho resigned on Mr Kang’s behalf and how Eun-ho had said he was Mr Kang’s son. I don't think she will be a wicked person. And as the romance comes to fruition, those friendships seem to be crumbling apart. They go out to eat and Seo-joon says he’d been waiting for Dan-yi’s call. She asks what it means, and Seo-joon replies that it means that the girl bought the shirt for the guy. Eun-ho rings her to see where she is and then runs to go and meet her. At this Park Hoon summons tears from nowhere and insists he’ll make sure she’s comfortable despite his poorer circumstances. Then she goes and sticks her head in the fridge to calm herself down. thanks very much @growingbeautifully!
Ko and Jae-min are fascinating to me, too.
Ji-yul goes ahead and blabs to Park Hoon. Aww. You’re flustered for a reason.
Seo-jun is both adorably bewildered and also enchanted by Hae-rin – at least, in my opinion. }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Please enter your username or email address. Eun-ho says he’ll take the manuscript and look over it. But deep down, I don’t think she is.
Although this time I don't understand why he is not telling DY right away. In addition to considering the work boring, she notes that Hae-rin is a difficult mentor. Jae-min immediately shoots it down, but Eun-ho admits that he likes what he sees as he starts to read. Eun-ho then offers a bag with ‘answers’ for Seo-jun to take a look at. Preferably not him. There’s not a lot of collateral damage in terms of Seo-joon. His feelings are genuine, but not particularly deep. Cactus Pop is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and is devoted to discussing books, TV, movies, travel, food, craft, musings on life and the stuff in between.
Dan-yi moves on to her final argument: breaking up. I felt like the people behind this show truly believed in the power of books and that made me very happy. I am super happy for that ending scene with DY and EH holding hands. She’s heard everything. ), in this drama. I would have to watch it again. // Load the SDK asynchronously I want this in my life! She asks if he loves her and he says it doesn’t matter. He wants to find a good loophole that solves everything without having to confess all of the secrets and small lies that have been made to protect Dan-yi above all else. Also using it for the 2nd door is not a smart move. It's Eun-ho that should be superior, not Director Ko! Mom jumps to smack Hoon with her purse, and Ji-yul and Hoon flee. Ms Go asleep in her office and the CEO leaving her a note. She says she thinks they should just be friends. Eun-ho couldn’t be more thrilled that Dan-i’s managed to throw such a spanner in the works.
A text from Hae-rin informs Eun-ho she’s meeting Seo-joon about the book design. ( Log Out / Director Ko denies it and Dan-yi bids her goodnight, shushing Yeong-ah.
*wink wink* And the whole thing with the button is weirdly drawn out. Director Ko reports to President Jae-min, but as she proudly regales her efforts, Jae-min’s attention is focused on the loose button of her sleeve. She asks what sort of book he would be to her. I love your your term 'fate's way.' At lunch, Eun-ho grills the CEO about ways a contract employee can become a regular employee without reapplying for a position. (heart melts...) Really loved this conversation! Then they skulk around not wanting to be the first one that’s ready. We don’t know if she would have been happy or not. I’m actually tearing up. And then she kisses him on the lips and they agree to start dating – much to her own bewilderment. Required fields are marked *, I love this show because it's not afraid to embrace human frailty.......and I love books. At the office the next day, a poster has gone up for an idea contest for employees. Up in the office, Yeong-ah kicks herself for pestering Director Ko. if (d.getElementById(id)) return; And it’s good news, the poetry book Mr Bong campaigned so hard for is now going into a fifth reprint!
