Nice! The rub with this is: they haven’t won one in 21 years. Pick up his tribute tee! If FO showed no restraint, we would have traded Seager for Hamels, Bellinger for Dozier, Urias for Sale (that one may prove to be wrong decision, time will tell), Buehler for Darvish (FO played hardball until deadline almost closed to bring Rangers demands down), Verdugo for Kluber. “You can go get the best third baseman in baseball. This type of management will never change and I am sick of it! Grand Tour Nation News

However, you may be waiting a few years for it to happen.

Happy days when they finally fired him. The Dodgers are the closest team to his home that could actually use a third baseman. May 21, 2010: Nolan Arenado assigned to Asheville Tourists from Casper Ghosts. What may this fractured relationship between Arenado and the Rockies mean for the Dodgers? Arenado was stupid to sign that deal with them if he really thought the Rockies were going to invest the money to catch the Dodgers. Rather than attend ASU, he signed with the Rockies, and made his professional baseball debut with the Casper Ghosts of the Rookie-level Pioneer League, where he batted .300.

Maeda is signed through 2023 and has a career record of 5-2 with a save and a 3.86 ERA at Coors Field. But when you break down the offensive numbers, an argument could be made that Verdugo is actually the more promising hitter. Based on all of this, even if Verdugo was included in any Dodgers deal for Arenado, the two sides really are not the best match, especially because they are playing in the same division. Player declares wish to play for the Dodgers and the Dodgers It will probably take a huge haul of Major league players, top minor leaguers and some potential. I don’t believe that package of players will get Arenado. This is all B.S.to me, next! I still remember the beginning of 2015 when it changed suddenly and it’s increased every year since I believe. Remember, Jeff Passan recently stated that he feels Arenado in Los Angeles is the perfect fit. I’d give Colorado our top 10 prospects! My guess is, he will be good and maybe he can slash at the same rate, even as he ages. Probably another homer or bust choke artist but hey atleast they finally drafted a right handed hitter I’m shocked. Dodgers currently have money, prospects and tradeable excess MLB talent. RF Betts. TEST When exactly does he feel that disrespect – when he cashes his check? Try to take a step and view as a non biased straight down the middle observer and you’ll see what I’m talking about when watching these networks. But how will he hit in pitcher friendly parks? That’s not even mentioning diamonds in the rough they found from other teams’ trash bins such as Turner and Muncy who developed into all-star level players as Dodgers, or the current younger prospects with high ceiling talent such as Lux or May. DNVersion1 by Daniel Preciado 12/06/2019, 6:00 AM As if that would not be stupid enough, the Rockies have SEVERE Dodger envy going already, they most certainly will not compound their misery by giving their favorite son Arenado an opportunity to win in LA. Looking at the post-season batting statistics of Arenado and Betts isn’t all that impressive. Yes, home and road splits are concerning; and the .277 / .346 / .867 from 2019 was better than his career splits. Nolan Arenado 2 years from now? They need to do so because they owe it to the fans. Bellinger didn’t deserve that award last year. That’s very un-Arenado like. By BlakeHarris @BlakeHarrisTBLA Jan 23, 2020, 12:42pm PST Share this story. Post was not sent - check your email addresses! Or do you sit around for 33 years waiting for the right one to come along? We lost Ryu, Hill, and Martin. (First Kemp trade as well!). But when all is said and done Arenado is a RHB, an impact player even if his road numbers may not be equal to those at Coors. I’d even give Donsldson the 4 years since he’s a position player and not a pitcher. Innuendos. However, the Braves have concerns with Arenado’s current salary. The last thing the Rockies will want to do is deal Arenado to the Dodgers, but the Rockies have little control in where Arenado ends up next. It’s still a long shot, but the Dodgers should make a push to get Arenado. You do make some solid points, but terrible takes like that are a detriment to your arguments. Enough speculation and wishes. That would be a worst-case scenario for the Rockies and the threat of an opt-out could leave the Rockies no choice but to part with one of their best players in franchise history. With his left shoulder aching, power missing, a sub-par .253 batting average, and his team in a tailspin, the Rockies' Nolan Arenado sat out Sunday afternoon's home finale against the Dodgers.

He’d be in the lineup everyday but his spot there could change constantly because of all the platooning around him as well as who’s hitting in front and behind him. A 265 hitter and less than 30 home run guy (which is what it is outside Colorado) is not worth 25 to 30 mil per year. Go Blue!!!

for either 2 years of prime Arenado or 7 years of a $230+ million contract to a guy approaching his mid to later 30s.

2B Lux How about Seager Sauce?! 4, or 5 starting pitcher, and Joc will be eligible for free agency after 2020. Dodgers plan on rolling out the same lineup that failed ONCE AGAIN this post season. First: If he wanted to be a Dodger so much, why did he sign the extension with Colorado. is the downfall to this team would be a grossly oversimplified and ill-informed statement. If they come out rolling again somehow and surprise, he probably ends up happy and just stays in Colorado. That is the only thing I give up that flexibility for. Arenado is batting .218 with a .714 OPS, though he has slugged seven home runs and driven in 16 runs. Talk about waking up!!! Josiah Gray – sp
