Under an Alternative Payment Plan, the University allows students to pay tuition, fees, and room and board costs over an installment period depending on the plan selected. Students attending the University through University-approved employer-reimbursement must pay all costs before classes begin, or, if the student is eligible, make arrangements for payment under an Alternative Payment Plan.

Alumni holding a Rockhurst graduate degree are eligible to take graduate or undergraduate courses through the Alumni Discount Program. Enrollment for students participating in the Alumni Discount Program will be held after regular students have completed pre-registration. In an effort to provide increased opportunity for Rockhurst graduates to participate in and reassociate themselves with the academic offerings of the University, Rockhurst offers an Alumni Discount Program. Overdue accounts will be sent to a collection agency. There is a $75 enrollment fee. Part‐time undergraduate and graduate students are invited to purchase the health insurance plan as needed.

Students who withdraw or are dismissed after the end of the first week of scheduled instruction are eligible for refunds and/or reduction in charges in accordance with the Tuition Refund Schedule published for that semester on-line at the Rockhurst University website www.rockhurst.edu. Merit-based aid, also called non-need-based aid, is awarded for a specific talent or athletic or academic achievement. Financial aid refers to funding that students can use to pay for college and is generally awarded based on need or merit. EMBA alumni seeking to earn a second master’s degree will be eligible for the Rockhurst alumni discount but not the special EMBA discount.
