Reddit; Pocket; Flipboard; Email; Ajax v FC Bayern Muenchen - UEFA Champions League Group E AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - DECEMBER 12: The logo of Munich is seen on a jersey prior to the UEFA Champions League Group E match between Ajax Amsterdam and FC Bayern Muenchen at … Consistent with the retro “Icon” shirt, the third kit features a red, monochromatic Adidas logo and team badge on opposite breasts, while the white T-Mobile logo is in the center. The world’s two best players play for Bayern Munich. Much like the “Icon” jersey, this kit features a dark navy blue base with diamond-shaped, light-blue accents throughout the body. Since the idea appears to pay homage to both the iconic roof of the Allianz Arena and the Bavarian flag, it could very well prove to be something the Ultras and all Bayern fans alike will cherish. Either way, the color scheme bears resemblance to last year’s navy blue away kit.

Like the home and away kits, this third jersey also seems to follow the theme of paying homage to the Allianz Arena with the diamond shapes that appear throughout the front of the jersey. The collar base, most of the sleeve cuffs, the shoulder stripes, T-Mobile and Adidas logos, team badge, and Mia San Mia logo on the back of the kit are all in a matching shade of a reddish-orange, very similar to the shoulder stripes from the 2016-2017 away kit. The dark navy base of the shirt gives a midnight feel with subtle contrasting diamonds throughout, representing the lights of European nights. At this point, the above image is really the only available preview we have of the kit, but we still get a general idea of what it’s going to look like. KIT LEAK: Bayern Munich’s third kit for 2019/2020. These are set to be officially released at some point during the middle of July or early August during Bayern’s preseason excursions.
