Most Pilot-y Line: It feels like some of the people who are supposedly dead, like Davina, are going to pop up at some point, either as zombies or as… something. Ye olde “oh no, I’m wounded, please shoot me before I turn into one of them” device is used once per episode. I'm glad this came out. She’s later joined by “favela girl” Teresa (Luellem de Castro, the most charismatic performer here), a convicted pickpocket who turns out to have a heart of gold and handy skills with an axe. But the series signs off with one final twist that sees the now undead main characters as zombies, thriving in the house, setting up the backdrop for a prospective, yet to be greenlit Season 2. Reality Z does the exact same opposite: it takes what was a new idea a brings it back to the numbness and lack of imagination of every other zombie story out there. Rotten (5). | The make-up and visual effects are surprisingly good and quite gruesome. | But ultimately, Reality Z fails to justify its existence. ga('ads.send', { The series revolves around an appalling deity-themed reality show called “Olimpo, The House of Gods”. No one is safe… except for the people inside the house: TK (João Pedro Zappa), Augusto (Leandro Daniel), Marcos (Gabriel Canella), Teresa (Luellem de Castro), Madonna (Wallie Ruy) and Cristina (Julia Ianina). But once the now-undead people in the car arrive at the studio, havoc ensues, as zombies attack, and the dead become undead. Meanwhile, the remaining cast wake up the next morning, hungover, and realize there is no one there watching over them, but not much else. eventAction: 'click_adunit' By the time the series limps and lurches zombie-like to its unsatisfactory finale, you’ll be long past caring, praying for the sweet release of death-by-zombie yourself. We begin on eviction night, with the show’s diva-like presenter Divina (Sabrina Sato) – a nice nod to our own Davina McCall – about to “sacrifice” another housemate to “the gods”.

In an absurd coincidence, he’s joined by ailing elderly woman Ana (Carla Ribas) who, unbeknown to everyone, happened to have designed the entire Olimpus complex in her youth, so knows all its secrets. The second half of the season is reportedly Torres and Rodrigo Monte's work together, and that's when things get ridiculously interesting as far as the done and dusted genre of both zombies and horror-comedy go. Reality Z: Season 1 News, All Reality Z is too chaotic and has to service too many characters for us to care about following the survivors.
